Tim’s love for aircraft started early. His grandfather was a B17 Navigator on the Buzzy Buggy during WWII, completing 39 missions then was shot down by the Nazis, becoming a POW for 14 months before being liberated. When Tim was a child, he would take him to airshows and explain all the differences between the planes.

After getting a degree in International Business from University of Tampa, Tim worked in commercial real estate in Atlanta, specializing in industrial assets, serving as Vice President and Director of Operations for two brokerages. His clients loved him for his meticulous research and attention to detail, while remaining calm and insightful during even the most stressful negotiations. More so, many of his clients owned or chartered private aircraft, and Tim would regularly fly with them.

After 7 years in CRE, Tim moved to FL for his wife’s work and realized this would be a great time to start his own business. He loved detailing his cars, maybe he could do that for planes. And so, BlueGator was created, combining Tim’s deep passion for aircraft with his relentless and methodical work ethic.

Outside of BlueGator, Tim is an accomplished drummer, playing festivals such as Bonaroo and Van’s Warped Tour, and touring nationally with tribute and original acts. In his free time, Tim enjoys golf, surfing, traveling with his wife Rachel, and hanging out with his “house hippo”, Bruce.
